Terms of Service

1. Using the service
WhiteBackground.app provides browser-based photo background editing, downloadable blank white images and optional paid features. By using the service you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. You must be at least 16 and have the authority to use the photos you process.
2. Your photos and permissions
You keep your rights in your photos. You grant only the permission needed to process content you submit to Cloud mode and return the result. You are responsible for permissions, copyright, privacy and publicity rights. A background edit does not give you new rights in someone else’s photo, logo or likeness.
3. Free and paid features
Local single-photo editing is free and unlimited, with JPG and PNG exports up to 2200 px. Pro includes batch processing of up to 100 photos at once, export up to 4096 px and 500 Cloud photos per month. Cloud processing is optional, requires an account and consumes one credit per successful image. Failed or timed-out Cloud processing returns the credit. Small originals are not enlarged.
4. Billing and subscriptions
Pro costs $7.99 per month or $59.88 per year, equivalent to $4.99 per month. Subscription Cloud allowances are issued monthly. Unless canceled, a subscription renews at its stated interval. Cancel through account billing before renewal to avoid the next charge. Access continues through the paid period. A $4.99 Cloud pack provides 300 Cloud photos with no subscription or expiration; it does not include Pro batch or 4K access. Checkout identifies the merchant and applicable taxes before you pay.
5. Refunds
The refund policy is part of these terms. Monthly subscriptions are not refunded for the current period. Annual Pro is refundable within 14 days if no more than 50 Cloud photos have been used. A Cloud pack is refundable within 14 days if no more than 10 Cloud photos have been used. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
6. Accuracy and availability
AI can remove the wrong pixels or leave unwanted background. Inspect the result and use the touch-up tools. Technical checks do not guarantee marketplace, passport or other third-party acceptance. Availability and processing speed depend on your device, connection and service providers. Keep your own copy of important files; Cloud files are temporary.
7. Acceptable use and account security
Follow the acceptable use policy. Do not submit unlawful content, infringe rights, attempt unauthorized access, evade payment or abuse the service. Keep your account credentials secure and contact support about suspected misuse. We may limit or suspend access to address violations, fraud, security risks or legal requirements.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as available, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee error-free results, uninterrupted access or acceptance by any marketplace. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The disclaimer explains additional practical limits.
9. Independence and contact
WhiteBackground.app is independent and is not affiliated with Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Etsy, eBay, Google or the authors of the open-source tools it uses. Contact support@whitebackground.app about these terms. We will publish updated terms here and provide notice of material changes where required.
