How to make your background transparent
Choose the product photo
Upload a supported photo with a clear subject and enough room around all its edges. Transparent output is already selected on this page, so the finished cutout will be prepared for PNG export.
Let the browser separate the subject
Quick processing processes the photo on your device. It can handle ordinary backdrops, but thin cords, translucent material and reflective edges need close inspection. Use a better-lit original when the product blends into its surroundings.
Review the alpha and touch up
The checkerboard shows which pixels are transparent. Use Erase to clear leftover background, Restore for missing detail, and Undo or Redo to revise a stroke. Check openings inside handles as well as the outer silhouette.

Is this transparent background maker free?
Yes. Single-photo removal and transparent PNG exports up to a 2200 px maximum edge are free and unlimited. No account or watermark is required for local single photos.
Why does my transparent image look white in another app?
Some apps display transparency against white. Place the PNG over a colored layer to check it. If you downloaded JPG or selected white before export, the background is opaque and cannot become transparent merely by changing the file extension.
Can I remove a white background from a product?
Yes. Upload the opaque photo and keep transparent output selected. White products photographed on white can have weak edge contrast, so inspect the result carefully and use Restore where the model removed part of the item.
Are glass, fine hair and mesh always perfect?
No. Fine or semitransparent structures can lose detail, and reflections can retain background color. Check the cutout at a useful size, compare it with the original and make corrections. A different source photo may give a better result.
Can I use the same cutout on white later?
Yes. Keep the transparent PNG as your reusable source. Open it in the PNG-to-white tool and compose it on white without running background removal again. That avoids another interpretation of the product silhouette.
Can I download transparency as JPG?
No. JPG does not support an alpha channel. The editor flattens JPG output onto white. Choose PNG with the transparent option selected when empty pixels are required by your design workflow.
