AI results need review
Automatic background removal can miss fine details or retain part of a background, stand or shadow. Review the result at full size and use the touch-up brush. Results and processing time depend on the source image, device and connection.
No marketplace approval guarantee
Presets and checks help with canvas size, pure white, framing, edge contact and resolution. They do not evaluate every product category, text, prop, packaging or authenticity requirement. Check the marketplace’s current official rules before submitting a photo.
Not an official identity-photo service
A white background is only one possible requirement for a passport or ID photo. Authorities may restrict editing and require specific lighting, head position, dimensions and expressions. Verify the relevant official rules.
Independent service
WhiteBackground.app is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Etsy, eBay, Google, KIE, Recraft or the authors of its open-source dependencies. Their names and trademarks remain their own.
Temporary files and external services
Keep the exports you need. Our Cloud storage is temporary; processing providers have their own retention policies and availability. No statement on this site guarantees third-party service performance or retention beyond their published terms.
